Robert was so wonderful and accommodating for us! The site itself is very cute and relaxing, you camp right under the pines. Even though it's very close to the house you have plenty of opportunity to keep to yourself if that's your thing and you can choose from 2-3 sites in the yard so you're comfortable wherever. There's a good spot for a van or camper too! After we set up camp we climbed down the hill to dip our toes in the water. Robert informed us that there's great fly fishing in the area too! Plus, he has a super cute and friendly dog that loves lots of pats!
The dome was an unbelievable getaway! Very secluded and private, there was a parking spot marked for Hipcampers as soon as you pull into Nick and Tara's driveway, and cute little arrows pointing you down the trail to the dome like a little scavenger hunt! Once we got there we couldn't have been more comfortable. The dome itself is tucked right into the edge of the woods, with a beautiful stone rimmed fire pit just a few yards away, great picnic table space and even a camp stove for us to cook on! They even included cooking utensils, cups, plates, and coffee from the famous Mocha Joe's in Brattleboro. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and you could watch the pines sway from the skylight in the dome all night. So relaxing, so peaceful and so so beautiful. We couldn't recommend it more.
Fox Farm Cottage was unbelievably beautiful and Cindy was so sweet! The cottage itself is so cozy and comfortable, surrounded by lush plants and greenery everywhere. We even had a TON of outlets inside for charging our phones and computers! Even though there was no running water, it was really not a problem at all. We cooked out on the porch with our camp stove, and enjoyed the summer breeze. After dinner we hopped down the trail nearby to the river and swam till dark with an amazing sunset! We are DEFINITELY going to come back in the future. Also, Cindy's dog (Loki) is the most lovable camp companion we could as for. Give him a good pat for us!
The yurt was absolutely gorgeous, it was my first time staying in one and I loved it. The property is beautiful and full of all kinds of plants. It was great to learn about their farming and about the animals themselves. We enjoyed taking the canoe out on the water at night. If you love dogs, you'll fall in love with theirs!
The house is absolutely gorgeous! You can camp anywhere you want, there's plenty of field and trails to wander. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. We loved watching the fireflies light up throughout the field at night!
One of the best camp sites I've ever stayed at! There was a cooler with water waiting for us on the picnic table as well as plenty of firewood. There's great views of the surrounding area! We woke up to an amazing sunrise, and then headed out to one of my favorite towns, Jim Thorpe. It's about a 20 minute drive!
