This was my first stay in Otter Space, of many to come.
I'm an experienced camper, from Central Oregon, where a great variety of beautiful landscapes are prevalent. I chose to stay at Otter Space because it was a convenient halfway point to meet my girlfriend and spend quality time before we had to split ways again.
The idea of being removed from service by 20 miles of dirt must settle well with you if you want to stay in this magical plot of land and river. The dirt road is well maintained and practically any Honda Civic, with good tires, could make it down (though a 4x4 would be most desireable for speed and comfort).
Once the dirt road is conquered, you enter a totally unique landscape, promptly greeted by the sort of people with kindness you wish the world had more of and can instantly feel the "magic" that is spoken of in other reviews of Otter Space.
My girlfriend described the amenities as, "Remote enough to appreciate modern technology, without needing more for comfort." The camp sites are secluded, potable water is near, well equipped hosts are moments away and there's plenty enough to explore.
All of the images on the map are what they say and more. Pictures can't do this place a justice, you'll have to see it yourself.
