This site was amazing for those that want to get away but have the safety of a host nearby. I was camping by myself and felt incredibly safe. Great paths to mountain bike on, cows just roaming on through the grounds, amazing night sky and a seriously fantastic private outdoor shower! After hiking 20+ miles in GC that was amazing!
Ok... not sure if actually 8 miles of dirt road but.... even my Mini Cooper, a Honda Civic and a Tesla were able to make the drive. And wow was it worth it! Beautiful location with amazing oak trees, incredible views across the valley and a wonderful tour of the historic Nate Harrison site and Native American history!
We had a group of 16 (adults & kids). All had a wonderful time. Great fire pits, water, plenty of room for exploring. Everyone wanted to know how I found such an incredible spot!
Vicky & Nicole were great and checked up on us a couple times - even delivered firewood. The water quality was excellent. A truly beautiful property that has kept the ruggedness while opening up 25 sites that have everything you need. Just beautiful!
If you are looking for a rustic experience with lots of privacy (but host nearby for emergencies) this is the place! The road is very rough to get there. SUV, Subaru Outback type vehicle is required. Great friendly hosts!!
