Coyote Ridge at Colby's private campground overlooks a beautiful forest and an ice cold creek. The trees overhead kept us cool in the heat of the day, and the geology of the area assured solitude and peace. The fire pit was large enough to create zones for camp cooking, and there was more than enough wood to be collected. We enjoyed a very easy hike in the nearby Town Forest, which features an arboreal oddity in the form of impressive Black Gum Trees that are, in the northern part of the United States apparently, unique to this forest. I will definitely be returning.
