Curtis, the home owner, was very kind. He offered us all the fire wood we wanted! The camp ground is far from any city lights or highways. The field backed up to a Forrest, with plenty of hiking available. There was a cleared path to get your hike started. Open sky camping was perfect for looking at stars. We went for 1 night and it was perfect, any longer and I’d suggest a day drip to Fall Creek Falls down the road.
Wonderful spot to camp. The property is secluded with virtually no road noise. The nearby horse barn was great and the fire flies at night were a special touch. Susan was very nice and welcoming! All in all it was a great camp site and I would suggest it to anyone in the area
Easily the coolest spot we’ve stayed in. The mini house is perfect for a couple or small family. The fire pit on the flat deck over looking the trees was beautiful, and the hiking was private and entertaining.
The owner was the nicest person ever. She greeted us when we arrived and checked in to see if there was anything she could do to make our stay better. We felt so comfortable and at home on her property
I absolutely loved staying here. Massive area let’s you have a private space but close enough to people to feel safe. The road requires a SUV or 4 wheel drive car. And only advice I would give is that it’s up high in the mountains, so the wind can pick up when the temperature drops, so bring extra tent spikes.
Overall it’s got a perfect view and a private feel. It’s the little secret in Zion that everyone should keep before it gets too busy ;)
