We only stayed at Christy's for a night on our roadtrip and left early in the morning. Christy greeted us warmly on arrival, gave us general info and even let us borrow her lighter for making the campfire! Some of the campsites are right next to each other but if you don't have someone occupying the campsite next to you (which was the case with us), then you do get some privacy. The porta potty seemed clean. Overall, we did not have any issues with our stay and would definitely consider coming back!
Matthew's instructions were perfect and we had no trouble finding the place (despite having no cellular network). We were able to pitch our tent at a beautiful spot which was secluded but at no point did we feel unsafe. The beach is just a couple minutes walk and is not too crowded. We wanted to start our hike in Porcupine Mountains the next day and made in there in about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend his place.
