What a gem! While this place takes a while to get to (more than an hour on a unpaved road), it was totally worth it. We enjoyed hours of relaxing in a very secluded campsite and playing in the cool and refreshing creek. The hike on the property is an added bonus as was the WiFi in the general store and the ice to purchase. Definitely recommend.
We had a lovely weekend at Elizabeth's farm. It was a very cold weekend and since the yurt location does not get a lot of sunlight, we spent our days doing wine tasting in Sebastopol which was lovely. At night, we built a campfire and lounged around the yurt. Bring sleeping bags and warm socks and you should be fine! The camping "amenities" make it a lovely glamping spot and a great weekned getaway. The directions Elizabeth provided were very clear, but be sure to have them handy as there is little cell service along the way.
We had a great weekend at Muir’s Muse! We did the pioneer trail hike and lounged around enjoying the view with our two pups. Be sure to bring your lanterns and headlamps and pack for layers because the weather can range in temps during the fall. Our dogs especially enjoyed the ample room to run around and roll in the dirt. They were so reluctant to leave, as were we.
We had a great stay. Ben met us when we arrived and provided detailed directions about the site, the farm, and the area. He also provided firewood and kindling. So nice! We stayed for two nights and did a lot of exploring around the area. There are amazing hikes including a great one off Highway 50 down to an amazing swimming hole at the bottom of the gorge. The site was perfect for a small group. It was well-maintained and we felt very safe while staying there. There is some road noise but nothing that distracts from the farm. Also the farm is beautiful and we were able to harvest a few things for our dinner.
We had a really great stay at Big Mesa. The tents were big enough for four people and very clean and comfortable. We cooked a wonderful meal in the outdoor kitchen (which was fully stocked so don't need to bring any cookware), and even enjoyed the outdoor showers. The location is perfect for hiking/surfing. Would definitely recommend as a glamping spot!
We had a great time staying at Immen Ranch right before the devastating Napa County fires. It was the most beautiful scenery and a quick hike down to Lake Berryessa where we basically had our own private beach. David was super communicative and very helpful. We wish them the very best!
We hiked to campsite #3 and had a wonderful, quiet evening. The communal facilities were well-taken care of and the campsite was as advertised. It was a bit of a trek and it was hot (95 degrees) but definitely worth it! Our dogs did come home with a few ticks but no real issues. Would definitely come back!
We had an awesome time there even though it was a rainy weekend. We stayed at creekside 3, and did some hiking around the property. The owners were super helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend!
We had a great time at Abuelo camp. It was a last minute trip but worked out well. We went kayaking and swimming, grilled out in the communal grill area, and then stared at an amazing night sky from our campsite. Our dogs also loved it!
