Paula, Lucy and I stayed near the farm that has beautiful views of the rolling hills of Ohio. Sunsets and sunrise beautiful.have water to fill our water tank at the farm. Electric at site by the farm, up on the hill. The tent camping is in an area away from the farm and very secluded with pond and many nice spots to tent. They have water by the A frame, not sure about electric. I believe they spoke of the A frame was also available for rent.the entrance to the tent area a bit steep for RV unless maybe 4wd. But by the farm the drive was great. The host are very gracious and leave you to your own after they meet you. Sasha (camp name)is their dog who is adorable! Great place for fall leave change time!!!
Definitely steered more towards tents, we have a small teardrop camper that we got to plug in to electric but no place to empty gray water. Luckily we were the only ones there but if not would have been kind of close quarters to others without any barrier between. We prefer more of a natural way from everything setting. Dan was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area we watched him with his sheep dog herd sheep.the lodge has a nice clean bathroom with hot showers very well kept up. Incredible bike path nearby 80 miles long built on old railroad line. Nice hike up to a pretty pond on the property very quiet. I think a little overpriced 4 it's kind of campground with hipcamp fee on top.
Beautiful sights, nice and quiet ,great packing in with tents a little tight with a teardrop camper right on the stream. Had the whole place to ourselves.when you first turn off the main road onto the gravel go over the bridge and up to gravel road don't take left at big log that says campsites.only drawback in the whole place is that gravel road when you get to the end and come down into the reception area that road is very steep and hard to get up with a regular vehicle. Lots of free firewood already seasoned and split.
Nice, pretty quiet ,well maintained ,nice to have a shower and a laundry (bring your quarters two dollars for washer 1:50 dryer) bathrooms very spacious and sparkling clean. Host Julie was very accommodating I would definitely recommend it
I probably should run this place down so to keep it to myself, but no this is a place that I must pass on to you all.if you can handle taking your vehicle up steep grades with breathtaking views, it's well worth the stay.garden, apple trees, black berry, blue berry, wild flowers next to site, more stars at night (no city lights) .so quiet I was given to closing my door's softly as not to brake the moment.the Host Peter is all you would need and want in in a host, friendly, knowledgeable of area and life in general! Might ask him to bring out the fiddle.last but not least 60s at night and no mosquitoes.
