We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend and were thrilled with the gorgeous views from the upper campsite. Watching the sunset over the mountains was amazingly beautiful. My young son enjoyed the swing at the campsite too. The hosts provide you access to their bathroom (and porta-potty for after hours) though we really didn't use the facilities since we brought our trailer. We pulled a 22ft long hardside pop-up to the upper camp site and it was a bit of an "adventure". The road to the campsites is a little narrow for a trailer and steep in some places. No problem for a car or SUV/truck however there were a few anxious moments coming up and down from the site with the trailer attached. We would love to stay again some time, the sites all have great privacy and there is lots of space to roam around in the National Forest behind the property. Thanks for a lovely weekend.
We loved Georgette's place. She has a large property with expansive views down the mountains. Our family enjoyed walking around her property and exploring. At night, the stars were amazing and it was quiet and peaceful. We visited during Labor Day weekend and even though there were 4 groups of campers, there was ample room to spread out and enjoy the wilderness. Georgette is a friendly host who kindly offered us access to her home bathroom and firewood pile. We hope to return next year!
We stayed at site 1 with our hard side pop-up trailer (20ft long) and it was great. Definitely recommend booking site 1 (and not 2) if you have a trailer since site 1 has a pull-through drive. The site was clean and had a nice propane grill and a small propane fire pit (we brought our own propane) and a picnic table. We had a nice time walking around the property and exploring one morning. The camp site was in a nice windless spot among trees. We did see some people passing through the property and heard some shooting from an adjacent property during the day (not really bothersome) but all was quiet and peaceful at night. Overall this was a great place to camp and we hope to come back sometime next season. Thanks Jon!
