This lake is great for boaters. If you have a lakeside site, you can pull your boat up to your site. Great fishing.
Not my favorite place to camp. The sites are very crowded, loud, and busy. Would be a good place for kids. The hiking trails are busy, but the scenery is beautiful.
The campsites feel a little too open, but the hiking and scenery make up for it. We went hiking on the Superior Hiking trail here, it is a very quiet and peaceful hiking experience.
One of my favorite state parks. Great hiking trails and nice sites.
I grew up camping here. Its a great campround for kids, and has great fishing. There is a decent hiking trail next to the beach.
The hike to Blueberry lake was really beautiful. We rented a canoe, which was a great way to experience the lake. The canoe rental is right at the state park office, and they allow dogs in the canoes.
The campsites are a good size. We stayed in site one, which was not right on the lake, but very private. You can hear the train at night, which startled me awake, but the campground is very quiet otherwise.
