Intro: We are a family of 5 living full time in a skoolie we converted. We are from Maine originally but have spent the last 20 years living in the Southwest and now we travel the country finding neat spots and interesting people along the way.
We loved our time at Llama Paradise. The llamas were super cute and our hosts were super hospitable! This farm is a beautiful location with lovely night star viewing, deer watching, and lots of peace and quiet. The location, which is quite rural, is still only about 20-25 minutes to Charlottesville and/or Monticello. We were in our 40 ft converted school bus towing our car and, after taking the car off the dolly, had plenty of space to get in and out easily. We parked just south of a large show barn which had a toilet and wifi ;) And our great southern facing location was perfect for our solar panels. We hope our travels find us back this way again!
Spike’s place at TinyT Ranch is seriously a slice of paradise. Quick trip to airport and Austin sights. Spike is an amazing and Austin knowledgeable host and the property and barnyard friends are so delightful. We stayed there for 8 nights in our 40’ skoolie with three kids and a dog. If we pass this way again we look forward to staying here!
