It was it was like a pool side breeze in the evening and cool breezy wonderful weather in the morning. About 11 AM it got really hot to stay at the site. The grass could be mowed as the grass is so dry it crunches as you step on it. I recommend this campground for a fall or spring or maybe one night in the summer if you’re planning to leave before 11 AM. One other thing is I purposely selected this campground because it said campground fires are allowed then when I purchased the site it read campfires allowed at this Location and also said campfires not allowed. I was conflicted as to weather I could use make a campfire. However a man with a long white beard in a white truck came over and said he would be very angry at us if we started a fire and that a fire already started that day in the valley. The site are pretty far from each other so there’s definitely space between the other 3 or 4 camp sites. There’s not much designation that it’s a campground other then pink flags on the land. The evening sunset was beautiful and the sunrise as well, I really just couldn’t handle the heat in the day with no shade or trees nearby. The host was helpful in assisting me in locating the site when I was lost. The only other thing or concern I had was that I booked 2 nights and I didn’t come back for the second night because the grass was so dry I was terrified to start a fire as I was driving the roads near the campground and to the camp spot, I would come back maybe months of January- May or October through December as I really enjoyed the seclusion and the beautiful Mountain View’s and the fresh mountain air the close proximity to the ocean.
