campground is on a large piece of beautiful property that leads down to the water. lots of room to explore!
the campground itself is in a dry swale at the top of a hill, so while you do have to arrange camp in some of the lower flatter areas it also acts as a natural windbreak.
the site isn't extremely remote, but hearing a motorcycle from a nearby highway every now and then is a small price to pay for quick access to a last minute thing from town nearby.
Comfortable spot above a nice property. No shade, so make sure to bring a canopy. It's a 5 minute drive to a nice swimming spot that wasn't very busy despite being pretty hot.
Very low stress stay - affordable and rapid access to many different hiking, climbing, and swimming spots. Staff is great as well.
