It was a perfect weekend getaway. Very private and secluded. If youre into off the grid living, this place was awesome for that. It was very clean with lots of local wildlife. Went on sweet little hike.

So this is basically a large plot of land for cow grazing. We saw a few cows but they never came so close as to be a concern or anything.

My two boys (8&10) and I decided to try going without a tent and doing some cowboy camping. It went really well. We stayed out of the water. Seemed like because it wasn’t moving water it wouldn’t be safe to swim in. But there was plenty of land to explore and we went during the week so we were the only ones there.

We loved camping on the beautiful piece of land! Our dogs had a great time getting to roam free and explore the property. The cows were awesome and didn’t mind the dogs at all. Juan was great at answering all of our questions and the site was very easy to access. We also appreciated that we could gather wood from the property for our campfire. We’ll definitely be returning!

Our stay at Aggie Acres was awesome! The land was beautiful; no cactus, hardly any rocks and tall towering trees surrounded us. Our tent was beside what I originally thought was just a tank but turned out to be more like a small lake connecting to a stream. We woke up surrounded by cattle which was pretty awesome! I freakin' love cows. Our dogs were surprised to see them at first but they coexisted well after the initial discovery. We enjoyed hiking around the land and being able to let the dogs roam off leash. The pups were happy to be ranch dogs for the weekend! Gathering our own firewood from the land was fun! My husband even caught and released two fish in the lake! I would definitely recommend Aggie Acres!

Juan’s place is absolutely beautiful, a great place to camp out away from it all. Loved having the opportunity to pick a spot in the area around the pond, the shade from the trees and all the wildlife roaming around. Our pup had a great time running free as we chilled by the camp fire. Highly recommend and looking forward to making our way back out there sometime soon!

We had a wonderful weekend at Aggie Acres! Our dogs loved being able to run around and quickly realized the cows were there and they were big. We loved watching the cow faces pop up across the field and slowly approach and watch us. The dogs got in plenty of swimming too!
