This working, organic, urban farm is the best of both worlds. Pitch your tent, pull up your tiny house or stay in our yurt and you're 15 mins. from various public lakes where you can fish, rent boats, and ride paved trails; plus easy access to country roads for cycling, public trans to the city, a night out on the town or all of the above!

The mostly unfurnished yurt and camping area is fairly secluded from the neighboring community, and a 3/4 mile hike from the main house and horse barn. Explore short, native woodland trails and prairie & relax by the small natural pond on property. Tiny houses may only be able to be pulled up nearer due to vehicle / low branches access.

You'll find a quirky, cool, urban farm vibe where you can unwind and be as out of or in touch as you choose. (Free WiFi available near main entrance to check your email, if you need to. Spotty to clear cell service avail at camp/yurt site, depending on your carrier.)

There may be farm chores you can partake in, (think mulching, weeding on the 2 acre garden, collecting eggs or for the ambitious, mucking a stall), or just chill and relax in a hammock while you let the work week ooze out of your soul.

-Check in before dark or 8pm, whichever comes first. You will  need to be guided to the camp area the first time and it's easier in daylight.

-Strict no illegal (In TX) drug policy. Drunken, loud parties will be asked to leave. We have to live here after you're gone.

-Trash must be put in designated area or taken with you. Please use recycle bins.

-Food waste may be composted or possibly shared with our chickens. (Please check with farmer first.) But we do not want to encourage critters to dine here.

-There is a grill on the yurt deck for charcoal or a small fire pit up near horse barns & running water.

-No open fires in wooded area, please! Must respect any in-effect fire bans.

-Working organic farm with fresh farm eggs, produce and grass fed meats avail for purchase. (Or labor trade. Ask within.)

We call it a slice of paradise. And hope you will, too.
