The sites overlook the beautiful Canadian River breaks to the north with wide open skies to the west and east to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. These are rustic sites with no improvements. We are just getting started with this so you’ll be able to help us from the ground up. If we are not in a burn ban you’re welcome to have a campfire. There will be opportunities to call up a wild coyote or watch some mule deer or an occasional antelope stroll by. You could even be awakened by the horses on their way to water in the morning and we can set up some horse riding if we have enough notice to schedule time off from the 9-5 haha. Can’t wait to see you on the prairie!

We had a really nice stay at Tyler’s pasture! Tyler was super nice and a great communicator. We spent the night in a tent in the pasture. Tyler offered that we could stay closer to his home since it was quite windy and cold (we arrived a day before a snow storm was meant to come in). Although it was pretty chilly in our tent (it probably would have been wise to take Tyler up on his offer and to stay closer to Tyler’s house since it dropped to 35 degrees), we had a really fun time. The horses are super friendly and really comfortable with people. We would definitely stay here again. The property is super close to the highway, so it’s a great place to stop when driving across the panhandle.

Tyler was a Lifesaver for our trip! We were coming in from Arizona making our way back to Houston and really needed a stopping point. We had messaged Tyler asking if it was ok to come super late (11pm) to pitch our little tent and he was so accomdating! Amazing communication and even set up a special spot for us since the winds were going to be crazy. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a simple tent site for the night!

What an unexpected delight! We needed somewhere to stay after a long day of driving. Somewhere we could let the kids and our dog stretch their legs however they wanted. Tyler’s place helped us all unwind and enjoy ourselves just as we hoped! The kids ran around, rode bikes, let it all out without the worry of bothering neighbors, all while amongst a group of friendly horses. Our kids were besides themselves and have chatted about this site as if it were a dream. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it highly if you need a quick spot to stay while passing through Amarillo!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The sprawling land and open sky are breathtaking. Most importantly, Tyler is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He walked up to our car to greet us with water, snacks, and treats for the horses. We arrived very late (1AM) and he was beyond accommodating. We fell asleep beneath stars that could take your breath away. In the morning, we drove back up to the barn to hangout with Tyler and feed the horses with the treats he’d given us. My fiancé and I truly didn’t want to leave because we were lost in good conversation with our awesome host. I could talk about this place for hours. Long story short, this property is really special and Tyler is an amazing guy.

The amenities of this land are just as described “wide, open spaces”. We loved this land and wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy. Great stop of your traveling through like is, since it’s right off the highway. Site was level for our class b RV so no need to haul out levelers. Tyler was such a welcoming and gracious host. Kept in great communication with us. The horses are a huge bonus adding to the beautiful backdrop of the most amazing sunrise and sunsets. If we’re lucky enough we will stay here again on our way back home. It’s primitive but that’s what made it so cool. Tyler is going to succeed greatly in his vision to share his land! Thank you!

Beautiful sunset in a wide, open space. These guys didn’t get the social distancing message :-)

The site was beautiful! I arrived at night and when I woke up in the morning was stunned by my surroundings. The sunrise on the Panhandle was absolutely gorgeous! Tyler was very helpful, led me to the site, and was super communicative the whole time! Would stay again if ever passing through!

Tyler was awesome and particularly accommodating of our late arrival, we really enjoyed staying in his pasture under the giant wind turbines. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise, and walked our dog around their beautiful land before heading on. Would stay again, and hoping we will!
