Pitch your tent in a pasture. Several areas on the property provide excellent camping opportunities. Camp within the hidden branches of a tree, or among a grove of wild plum trees. Be surrounded by mother nature and pasture lands. Wake early to see deer run across the land or stay up late to stargaze during a clear night sky. During the day, experience and enjoy the farm animals on the property. Pet a chicken, feed the animals or watch the busy activities of the honey bees.

Nearby county dirt roads provide excellent casual walking, hiking, wildlife viewings or off-road riding. And if that is not enough, nearby Sam Houston National Forest provides miles of trails to explore. 40 minute to an hour from shopping in Bryan and College Station. Or explore the prison facilities of Huntsville. This is a great location to slow down and enjoy country, small town living.

The main residence on the property has water and an 5 bed RV with amenties (shower, toilets, and a small kitchen) available to campers for an additional fee. The main barnyard and small barn loft is also available. Don't forget to bring your equine family. Stalls and paddocks are available with access to the county roads for trail rides. Please ask for more details.

It was really good, it was easy to get in contact with them. One of my kids said, "the dude was cool" Ernest welcome us to their farm as soon as we got there and helped in any way he could. We felt welcome and safe; last night one could see the starts and we were the only ones there, so it was awsome! My kids loved the animals and we even got to cook on their gas grill. We will be back! Thank you guys...

I was so excited to arrive and see the animals! I fell in love with theirs cows and my husband loves their ducks! We arrived and Ernest met us right away and gave us so much help! He showed us the animals and said we could choose our own spot and can shower if we need it! We absolutely loved our stay and won't change a thing about this fantastic campsite! Ernest made us feel safe, was fun to talk to, and made us feel at home! If we return to Texas, it is on our list to go back!

I had a great stay, my dog had a great time too. She was allowed off leash, and we even got to meet some cows. The field was cute and had some shade and a picnic table. The hosts were friendly but not intrusive. Overall, I couldnt have asked for more.

We booked the campground, a little last minute before a holiday weekend. The hosts were super friendly. We stayed at site 7, and the RV bathroom was in close proximity. The site had a TON of space and there were very few cars that used the road that goes along the property. The animals on the property were super friendly as well. All in all, a great experience!

Everything was great overall! There were some gorgeous pastures and wildflowers to see along the road. Tons of space and I was the only camper. It was just what I needed!

The site is on a working farm with cows, hogs, chickens, and a horse. Our kids absolutely loved the animals, and our youngest (nearly 2) loved to run around the pasture and explore the area. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts provided clear directions as well as left the bathroom open for us, even though we arrived while they were not home. The only thing I would mention to future campers is that the campsite is located in a farm pasture where the horse / cows have done their business. As such, be aware as to where you pitch your tent. There are a lot of ants throughout as well, so be sure nothing is left out overnight (we put our coolers/chests in our SUV overnight). Though we never brought food into our tent, we awoke to a lot of ants inside the tent and all over the table where we had left our clean dishes after dinner. Still, we enjoyed our stay and also our quick chat with our hosts the following morning on the way home.
