The bunkhouse was a nice and cozy spot to camp on a very cold weekend! It was plenty spacious for my two young children and I. Towels and linens were provided as well as kitchen basics(plates, pots and pans, silverware, mugs, etc.) and coffee. The family of Two Sparrows Homestead is very welcoming and accommodating. They were available if we needed anything but also allowed us to explore and enjoy their lovely farm. My son enjoyed visiting with and helping feed the animals each day. We also enjoyed a warm campfire each night. The location is great whether you are coming from the College Station area or Huntsville, it is easy to get to. Next time we visit in March we plan to hike at Sam Houston National Forest as well. Overall it was more than just a stay, it was an experience thanks to the work of the hosts, and a great one at that!

Campsites Produce scraps from local grocery stores for the animals! Going for a walk down the road was a nice way to stretch our legs at the end of the day. Campsites

We appreciated Ernest and his hospitality. We thought the RV was spacious and had the amenities you would need to stay. We also enjoyed showing our daughter their farm and Ernest talked to us about the farm and our daughter loved meeting the animals. The cleanliness of the RV was not what we expected and would have appreciated it being swept out and possibly even exterminated. We recognize it was on a farm and some bugs are to be expected but we felt that it could be treated and would improve the stay.

We had a lovely experience. The rv was very nice. It was more like glamping. Everything was well maintained and clean. The hosts were very nice. It’s on a small fam , as stated, and they encourage you to visit the animals. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great time! Elizabeth & her family were so welcoming! Their daughters took my girls out to see the barn & played with them in the puddles. They had a blast! Then in the morning, they even let us join in on their Easter egg hunt! Elizabeth took us on a tour of the farm and was so informative. My girls were in heaven, and us city girls learned a lot!

Family RV with bunkhouse.Excuse our pjs... we didn’t pack enough extra clothes to play in the mud. Elizabeth telling us all about the bees!It rained hard the morning before we got there, so the ground was muddy and wet, but that didn’t stop our fun!

We really enjoyed our stay at this farm. Children liked to pick fresh eggs in the morning or night, feed the cows and horse. We spent time by the fire at night, Luckily we got to see several shooting stars, then played monopoly in the RV. I hope this helps in anyway to support farm life. Best of luck to The Boerlins in this endeavor!!! And thanks for sharing.

They were absolutely wonderful. Our motorcycle blow it's clutch and they not only pick us and the bike up, but helped get it to the repair shop and pick it up. They provided dinner our first night sense we were late getting in and over whelmed from the heat. They homestead is wonderful, dogs, cats, turkeys, cows, horses, chickens. The second day a baby turkey was hatched. We are definitely going back.

The bed sheets smelled like urine and they had bags of garbage in the fiend in view of the RV windows. The hosts themselves were very kind and gracious but the property itself not as advertised.
