The Hideaway Sleeping Porch has been likened to Klamping. The truth be known it was created out of a early 1900's Sunday House once an old barn, renovated by German immigrants. Situated on a two acre hilltop first inhabited by Paleo Indians 10,000 years ago. In the 1800's the land was inhabited by Apache Indians who were later moved out by the Comanche Indians...The property is rich in history evidenced by the arrowheads which often surface after a hard rain. In 2015 a historical marker was erected one mile away designating this corridor outlining the rich history to include part of the Old Spanish Trail . The future campsites planned here will be exactly where Native American Indians were believed to have camped many moons ago.
