We booked spur of the moment and weren't sure what to expect. We found a fabulous retreat! Clean, comfortable and quiet. There was road noise, but not too bad. The cows next door came to visit, I'm not sure they were happy to see us lol! We let the dogs off leash the entire stay and they had a great time! The host was friendly and accommodating. We loved it!

This site has so much great infrastructure to keep you comfortable. Ray was helpful in showing me around the property and the best spot for my van. Close to College Station and only 10 minutes from I-45, the spot was in a fabulous location.

A new dock is up at the lakeFish swimming all around. Having come from the north, I was taking in all of the Texas sun I couldAmazing trees showing off on the propertyA covered spot for your trailer/RV/van

This place is GREAT! Ray, our host, was very kind and accommodating. We had a big group of 10 guys for our annual "Man Camping" trip. He let us set up anywhere we wanted and checked on us once to make sure we had what we needed in the far back part of his property. He even gave us chicken and duck eggs which were delicious for breakfast! We had privacy and felt safe the entire time. Can't stress enough how nice this place is.

This place was really nice, we felt that it is a very special area. The host was amazing and I am reluctant to give a good review because I want to make sure we can camp here anytime. However, it's not possible for me to do so as the site was fun and clean!

Where to begin? This place is amazing! The grounds are very well kept with plenty of feathered friends to welcome you. Raymond and his wife where wonderful hosts, and where gracious enough to show my young daughter the animals and their beautiful gardens. We will definitely be back!

Thank you Terry. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We still owe you a night because of the site mix-up on your last visit. Just let me know before you plan to book your next visit with us.

This was my first time using HipCamp and Raymond made it extremely easy and enjoyable. Both Raymond and Candy were super nice and helpful and the property was amazing. We had about 30 people camp for 2 nights and everyone had a great time. The lake/pond was a lifesaver during the hot days and the use of the grill kept everyone fed Saturday night. Ray came and checked on us occasionally to make sure we didn’t need anything and helped with cleanup! 10/10 camping site and host! Will definitely stay here again!

Thomas and his group were AMAZING! We had a terrible thunderstorm three hours before their arrival which left the property soaked. These guys took it all in stride by driving in and setting up camp wherever they stopped. The entire group was respectful and friendly and in the end they policed the area to the point that had I not been here I would not have believed that such a large group had graced our property. PLEASE COME BACK NEXT YEAR THOMAS!!!
