Swing high and sip your favorite beverage under the tallest five Live Oak trees in Texas. It is really fun flying on a 40 foot tall swing. Camp where you can see some of the original brick sidewalks from the 1840s. Three acres of forest and 2 acres of grassy fields. You can set your tents anywhere you like. You can't see any neighbors, or buildings,  or roads. But it's only a 12 minute drive to the Brazos Mall, Walmart, and all the restaurants. Five champion Live Oak Trees dominate the site of the largest settlement in the original Stephen F. Austin land grant. The largest Live Oak is 22 feet around, has a 120 foot branch span (almost 3 city blocks wide!), and is 840 years old. The tallest is 87 feet to the top leaf.

Our first Treehouse is nestled in a leaning live oak tree that grew up underneath the branches of one of the five huge live oaks. We have a totally fun collection of swings to enjoy. Three swings are over 40 feet high for the wildest and highest swing rides of your life.  A 3-person family bench swing with drink holders and foot rest and sun roof.  A 40 foot long mesh platform swing lets several swingers fly together. And a 'normal' swing under the treehouse for little kids. We will be adding more.

An off-the-grid solar trailer provides electricity to a parked motorhome. You use the motorhome's flush toilet and shower and sink.  Or you can do wilderness camping in the woods to practice your backpacking camping skills.

The south border is McFadden Bayou where the antebellum farmers transported cotton and sugar cane to market. You can fish there with no license.

You can enjoy the 10 ft high treehouse deck that can seat a party of 16 people. Feel the cooling breezes that blow in from the Gulf of Mexico. Or set up tents on the treehouse deck for the kids to play and camp. We also offer pre-setup tents from 2 person to 10x12 group tents.

Swing Camp is the rare outdoor location that delivers a beautiful back-to-nature feel but does not require an arduous backpacking hike. And living luxuriously underneath 800 year old trees creates a feeling you have never before experienced.

Wander around the property and crawl inside a 'hobbit house' hollow pecan tree, eat a tangerine from a wild tangerine tree (fruit in October), see the passion fruit vines, blackberries (springtime), and monster muscadine grape vines hanging 50 feet high. Take the Cypress Trail down to the shore of historic McFadden Bayou  to see a beautiful tall cypress tree with hundreds of knee roots sticking up.

You can bring your own tent and setup anywhere... under a giant Live Oak tree or hidden in the forest. We have two platforms where we will set up tents if you pick that option. Terrible weather?... Too many zombies?... you can buy the option to sleep inside the motorhome.

It's ten minutes to the shopping center and all the big box stores. Only 30 minutes to the beaches and deep sea fishing charters.
