Camp under the tallest five Live Oak trees in Texas. The largest is 22 feet around and 840 years old. The tallest is 87 feet to the top. These five champions dominate the site of the largest settlement in the original Stephen F. Austin land grant. The grounds have some of the original brick sidewalks from the 1840s. You have five acres with no neighbors, buildings,  or roads visible. But it's only a 12 minute drive to the Brazos Mall, Walmart, and all the restaurants.

The Trees have a totally fun collection of tall swings. Two are over 40 feet high for the wildest swing rides of your life. A double wide swing comes compleat with drink holders and sun roof for adult entertainment. An off-the-grid solar trailer provides electricity to a parked motorhome with a toilet and water.

You can enjoy the 10 ft high tree house deck that can seat a party of 16 people. Feel the cooling breezes that blow in from the Gulf of Mexico 16 miles away. Or set up tents on the deck for the kids to play and camp.

It is very hard to find an outdoor location that delivers that beautiful back-to-nature feel but does not require an arduous backpacking hike. And living luxuriously underneath 800 year old trees creates a feeling you have never before experienced.
