Pitch your tent in the forrest of the wetlands or on top of the hill in the middle of a native blackland prairie, overlooking a 300 acre lake. That's correct, bring your conoe, kayak, or paddle boards and all the fishing gear. One smaller private pond with fishing pier for kids to catch that first fish.

Steve's place is great and he was very helpful! We camped two nights with 3 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. Nice and private area. Small dock to sit on over the pond, nice large fire pit with chairs, hammock by the pond, great sunsets. Just down the road maybe 2-3 minutes there is a public lake and boat launch which looked like a great place to kayak. The public area also has picnic tables, a small playground, and a toilet. It has everything you need for a nice camping experience. My kids enjoyed camping here and had loads of fun catching plenty of grasshoppers, crickets, and frogs. Would come again!

My kids found lots of critters by the pond.Relaxing evening on the deckPlenty of froggies to catch!Nice area by the pond that we set our tents up on.
