Our aesthetic is punk-rock grandma. We are not pretentious, twee, uptight, or jerks. Just want everyone to have a lovely time. Oh, and we have a super cool, secular tiny chapel.

Spike’s place at TinyT Ranch is seriously a slice of paradise. Quick trip to airport and Austin sights. Spike is an amazing and Austin knowledgeable host and the property and barnyard friends are so delightful. We stayed there for 8 nights in our 40’ skoolie with three kids and a dog. If we pass this way again we look forward to staying here!
Had a great experience at Spike's Tiny T Ranch. We felt very welcomed as soon as we arrived. Spike was very easy to work with and very accommodating. We wanted something close to Austin where we could leave our motorhome and feel secure. Tiny T Ranch was perfect! Just outside Austin and very secure.
Little slice of texas heaven
I had such a great time here. Spike is a terrific host. We really hit it off and I met a lot of great people while staying here, just through sheer serendipity. Spike's got a great property for weddings and concerts and things, btw, if that's in your future.
That may make it sound like it's busy, but it's not. It's back from the road, and quiet. There's a beautiful little chapel on site, and lots of trees. The weather was perfect when I was there. I was able to hang out with all the doors wide open well into the night. (Honda Element car camping), no trace of mosquitos, pretty bug-free altogether. (Late October.) It feels very safe--Spike's got three dogs, one of them very big. They were tucked away in the back and never bothered me, but I felt like they were a good security presence. There were no other campers while I was there, so it was peaceful and private. As I mentioned, Spike was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, but not at all intrusive. It's about twenty-ish minutes from downtown Austin. I was here for the film festival and it was so lovely to have a quiet retreat under the stars at the end of the day.
Between the folks I met here through Spike and the peace and quiet, this was exactly the sort of experience I hoped to have when I joined Hipcamp. I'm so grateful to have found this place and I hope to be back.
