Secluded stretch of the Guadalupe river. Pecan grove river bottom. Great fishing. I have a 12 ft flat bottom boat available. When you are on the river you are almost always the only ones out there. In the heart of Gonzales cattle country.

Robert’s little patch of river heaven was amazing. So quiet and secluded, lots of pecan trees and the river front is amazing. Lots of room for tents and fishing. Robert was nice enough to let us borrow and very nice fire pit and the little goats were adorable. This place is 5 stars for anyone looking to get off the beaten path and relax for a bit.

Robert's campsite was perfect - It backs right up to the river and comes with a fire pit, and there is plenty of wood to easily gather on the property. The star gazing was great, we'll definitely be back!

This was a perfect spot to escape from the city the weekend! There was plenty of shade when we wanted it, or sunshine if that’s what we were going for. Lots of trees available for hammocks! We used the boat on site and floated around, exploring the river. Robert was a great host, good communication and available & prompt with responses if we needed anything, like finding the boat. I highly recommend it!

Great little spot right on the Guadalupe. Primitive camping at its best! The dog loved swimming in the river, and it was great to fall asleep to the coyotes yipping.
