This site worked for 1 night but we probably wouldn't stay for longer than that.

Pros-
The view was beautiful. Site was on a hilltop overlooking the hill country. There was a gentle breeze that was pretty "magical". It got pretty windy through the night.
We saw a cool, huge caterpillar that our boys really enjoyed.
The dog that greeted us was very sweet and welcoming.
Our dog was welcome which is important for us.
The fire pit made out of rocks was neat. We
We were able to get eggs and super greens instead of the tour we purchased.
10 minutes away from Blanco State Park and gas stations.

Cons- it wasn't what we were expecting based on previous reviews.
Not very private or remote.
Site felt like we were basically in their (large) front yard.
Campsite wasn't very accessible or convenient as far as unloading/loading the car. There are some low hanging trees that prevent you from pulling in further than just off the road. We actually drove past the site twice before walking down to look for it based on the directions.
There's a neighboring farm that was loading and unloading their cows. Felt like they were less than 80 feet away.
There was a tour available to purchase in advance. It wasn't available once we got there so they shouldn't have it as an option when you book.

Kacey has some neat campsites for tent camping or small RV’s. Get the quail eggs-they are delicious!

Great campsite! It’s got a HUGE fire pit that my family loved— the boys even tried playing the floor is lava on all the stones. A great area for hammocks as well off to the side.

Not far from the Blanco State Park and the Natural Bridge Caverns/Wildlife Safari!

The camp space and grounds were lovely. The fire pit was great and the scenery was beautiful. They have 2 very sweet dogs, a couple cats, and chickens. Overall a great stay at a cool place, I will definitely book again!
