This property used to be the town's picnic grounds, owned by the Burg's, who also owned Burg's corner where passersby could buy Stonewall peaches. The locals used to party on the low-water crossing bridge just south of the property and today, many of the locals still come here to fish and sometimes hang-out on the bridge on the weekends. Stonewall is famous for their peaches and close to the Fredericksburg wineries and distilleries that attract visitors from all over the great state of Texas.
