Beautiful property right on the Guadalupe River. You can camp in the oaks above the river, overlook the river or camp right on the water. There is plenty of wildlife to view and photograph. We saw hawks, owls, deer and cattle. The owners are good, friendly people and you have plenty of privacy and firewood. It is also a great place to canoe or kayak, with a designated paddle trail nearby. We will return!
Oxbow paradise is just that-a beautiful paradise! The campsite is truly a slice of secluded beautiful heaven and we had such a relaxing time there. Our four legged baby who loves water more than anything spent about 90 percent of her time happily swimming in the beautiful Guadalupe river. We chose to set up camp right on the riverbank, although a perfectly maintained campsite was up in the trees a bit further away. It was truly a memorable trip to this riverbed.
For off the grid campers, perfect.
The camp.site was perfect. Secluded, rustic, true camping site. No water, no electricity, great. I towed a 26 foot travel trailer off road back to the site. Only fot stuck.once, a quick shift to 4x4 lo and i was out.
I couldnt recommend this siyw enough to serious campwrs who are looking to get off the grid. It was great.
Private guadalupe camping
This place is amazing, it exceeded all my expectations. It's remote, beautiful, cozy, and has lots of trails to hike through. However, the river was the best part. You're own private stretch of the Guadalupe river. The camp site is well maintained, has a place to BBQ and more than enough room for multiple tents. I would highly recommend this to any who loves camping with the basics (tents) or that has campers or RVs. Davinia and her husband are great hosts and made it easy. I'll definitely be coming back!
