Sand dunes are nice however, don't walk your dog here as the grass and burrs will make it impossible to avoid having to pick them off your dogs feet. Very short camping spots. We had a 25 foot trailer that would barely fit. Campground sensors the media here, cnn is blocked. Don't tell me what I can't watch thank you very much. Never again.

Extremely windy. If tent camping it is easier to set up your tent right after dusk because the wind dies down a lot after that. You can rent/buy wax and boards to go sand surfing but it is a definite workout hiking back to the top of the hills. The sand is fine and clean enough to walk around bare foot and the sites do have tables and a covered area. The sun can be a bit intense as there are no trees so we ended up adding a tarp to the side of the shelter for added protection. Great shower and restroom facilities.
