This camp site was perfect. It was very private and secluded. The host was above and beyond super kind and showed us around his ranch.
Great primitive camping experience!
Enjoyed our stay here very much! The land is very primitive and our spot was nestled away with lots of trees around. It was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We were greeted on arrival, taken to our campsite and provided with a map.
The hosts were really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a fire pit at the site and the host provided firewood. We didn't get to use the fire however because of the crazy thunderstorms we had! However our host came by to check on us a couple of times because of the weather to make sure that we were okay which I thought was really nice. The ranch is pretty secluded, we didn't hear cars or other campers or anything. Just the birds. Oh, and at night we saw tons of fireflies in the trees right next to us which was so awesome!! This was our first time using hipcamp and it was a great experience. We didn't get to explore the ranch a whole lot because of other plans we already had but would love to visit again one day and explore more.

Lovely grounds. Friendly host. Only issue was last night we returned to camp to find fire ring and wood totally gone. Apparently, host thought we had overstayed. Texted a copy of receipt to prove we were on schedule.
A beautiful campsite that was secluded in the Texas Hill country! The site was very clean and well kept, easy to get to even in a corolla. I’m not sure swimming should be advertised since it’s such a seasonal thing and very dependent on rain, the river was super low when I was there and there’s not really any riverbank so to speak. The hike up to the top was nice and provided a good view, a nice break from being around your site. Overall a nice getaway and good experience!

Beautiful views and privacy. Plenty of hiking opportunities. Recommend high clearance for rocky terrain or 4X4 if it has been raining. Close to the towns of Medina and Bandera if you need supplies or restaurants.
The campground was easy to reach, beautiful, and clean! We had a good deal of privacy and coordinating everything with the camp owner was a breeze.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Weber ranch, the plot was lovely, right at the base of the mountain, and we about spent the whole day in the river, it was perfect. Thanks Chuck, we'll be back!
I had a very relaxing time for two nights at the Weber Ranch. Chuck was an excellent host and drove around to show me the fishing pond and the Medina River. The site I was given was perfect with large, shady pecan trees all around. There are some amazing views to see if you feel like hiking to the top of any of the large hills. If you're looking for something quiet, peaceful and primitive then this is your place. I would definitely like to come back again.
