Site 2 - Lost Woods Campground
We found Lost Woods to be a lovely, quiet "oasis," so close to the hubbub of San Antonio. Having just come from dry Big Bend, we were grateful to be able to have a campfire for our final two nights.

Rustic and Quiet
The camp site was beautiful! We just got lost and confused because site wasn’t clearly marked. We also thought there might be a picnic table and port a potty but there are none right there at site 13. However now that we know what to expect, we can plan better! We will definitely try to go back again soon. We loved how private and rustic it felt. Host was great to answer questions.

Hidden gem in the city
We had a great time staying in this heavily wooded area. It was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed a campfire and making s’mores. James is very responsive and a great host. Would definitely stay here again!

Site 5 - Lost Woods Campground
We loved this hidden gem in the middle of the city. We had a slight issue with our tent being too big for the original spot we had chosen and James made sure that we were taken care of and set us up somewhere that could accommodate us. The only downside is the traffic noise. Outside of that you would never be able to tell you're still in the city. Beautifully maintained and kept. We can't wait to come back soon.

Cute but too much for what you get
James was great and allowed us to change our site . But we came last year and the prices were 35$ that’s 30% price hike . This place is decent and feels like camping but has a lot of road noise . Worth 35 but def not worth 50$ . You can stay at a nice state park for way less . Cute place but probably won’t come back unless price goes back to a reasonable level .
