Site 4 - Hidden Grove Tent Camping
Excellent experience
We camped here for the 2024 eclipse and had a great time! The staff were very friendly. We were impressed with how clean things were. It was a very busy weekend for them, but they handled it very well. We don’t live particularly close to here and don’t really have much reason to travel back to that area of Texas, but we enjoyed ourselves so much that I can certainly see us returning just for some nice family time away.

Site 11 - Hidden Grove Tent Camping
A group of us traveled from CO to watch the total Solar eclipse. A trip 7 years in the making. When we showed up Chad greeted us, and actually knew the small town we were from in CO. Because we had such a large group, he upgraded us (without us asking) to a bigger spot. We ended up in spot 11 and we were so, so pleased with the spot! We had plenty of space, and felt secluded from other campers around us. Which, as mountain people, is always what we desire. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, all of our kiddos loved the pool, it was nice to be able to take a shower when we wanted to. Overall an amazing experience, and Chad is amazing!

Site 1 - Pull-Through Concrete Pad
The area was beautiful and had a lot of stuff to do! Host was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Site 2 - Hidden Grove Tent Camping
The camping spot was private and actually felt like camping. I enjoyed having a fire and seeing the stars. There is very little light pollution. There are walking paths nearby as well as a pond. On the other hand the bathrooms and laundry rooms are close enough that I could enjoy having those amenities. They were very clean. There is also a nice pool. I would definitely stay at Chad's land again if I am in the area.

Site 9 - Hidden Grove Tent Camping
We rented two sites, and this was our second. It was great! The site itself is a bit away from the RV sites so it was nice and quiet. Grass was mowed, it was well maintained, and had shade in the trees. Would recommend and would absolutely stay there again.

Site 8 - Hidden Grove Tent Camping
We rented two sites, and this one was great. Chad was very accommodating and worked hard to make sure we had a good site. The site itself was clean, maintained, and shady. We had a great time! Would recommend and would absolutely stay there again.
