I was here during the climbing off-season so the site and town a ghost town for the most part. Within 2 minutes of me showing up and texting the host, he came to give me a little tour, some water and everything else I needed. He was a super warm and welcoming person and the place was very clean.
I had some visitors in the van during the night who ate my snacks and left some droppings, but at least it wasn't a snake or mountain lion which I was forewarned about.
Overall, I had a very comfortable and safe experience and would highly recommend staying here if you do go climbing in Hueco Tanks!

Camper on the lot. Nobody's home."The Neighbours" Lockers available (some construction was happening)That face you make when you're the coolest campsite in the hottest place.

Super hipcamp: great people who were all male and seemed to all be rock climbers. Had wifi, coffee, toilet, shower, electrical outlet for charging phone, and was a mile or so from Hueco Tanks Park. I'd take ear plugs next time to block out the neighboring campers some of whom snore. Highly recommended. I'm female over 60 and felt very welcomed and comfortable.
