We are only the second owners of this property since it was granted to the original family in the 1880's! Spanning a 1/2 mile from front to back, there is plenty of room for exercise! The native yaupon holly and dewberries give the property it's unique name, Hollydew Farm. Learn more about this land: Come enjoy a stay on a working farm! Collect eggs from the ducks, pet the rabbits, play with the dogs and cats, or just watch and enjoy as the honeybees go about their daily chores and the ducks free range and just do what ducks do!  We have campsites available in the back of the property that is secluded and heavily wooded, including a creek running across the property, or you can pitch your tent anywhere you'd like...close to the animals, among the fruit trees, or up by the pond.  Most of the pastureland areas are clear of trees and free of power lines, so feel free to bring a kite! or a frisbee! Come see the wildflowers while they are blooming from mid-March to mid-April!  During the summer, we have a variety of fruit trees that produce, including peaches, pears, figs, and apples.  We have many other farm products available for purchase...free range duck eggs; homemade breakfast sausage; rabbit meat; homemade breads, blackberry cobbler, and a variety of pies; homemade blackberry jam, strawberry jam, blackberry mango jam, and blackberry pineapple jam; a variety of hard lotions and lip balm made with beeswax. Check out our website for more details and pricing. Contact us for availability of products, as most of it is seasonal!  While you are here, you will experience a wide variety of wildlife. We have seen deer, wild hogs, coyotes, bobcats, armadillos, skunks, snakes of all kinds, turtles, tree frogs, leopard frogs, a variety of lizards, hawks, owls, Mexican eagles, bald eagles, mountain lions, cottontails, voles, gophers, red fox, squirrels, song birds of many kinds...bluebirds especially like the yaupon, scorpions, insects, and more insects! If you need a little shopping while you're here, we are only 20 minutes from the Jewett Flea Market, which is the second Saturday of every month. And if you need some cheap entertainment, we are 10 minutes from the New Baden Jamboree, the oldest running country music jamboree in Texas (65 years!) on the first Saturday of every month.Come enjoy a stay on a working farm! Who is our Mother?
Earth Temple. A portal into sustainability. Return to the Temple of sovereignty. The Temple of all Humanity. The Temple of the heart. So many hidden gems of the Mother and her deep knowledge. A living, breathing example of our responsibility to manifest change, which begins within each woman and each man. Remember.

We had a wonderful stay! We arrived pretty late, but Karen and Darren were so welcoming and understanding with our schedules! Us three girls were a little skeptical about the camp toilet at first but it wasn’t that bad at all! The whole operation was very professional and it’s clear to see that they’re very passionate about what they’re doing. They let us have a first pick of the breads and produce before they took it to the farmers market and let us help pick up some duck eggs and even hold some of the baby bunnies! They live in a Class 3 dark sky and stargazing was one of the main reasons why we wanted to go camping, and we were not disappointed! The stars are so clear, the constellations seem bigger than usual! We had a great time and would love to come back when the blackberries are in season

Excellent spot
Absolutely loved my stay at Hollydew Farm. The location was easy to find and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. The site was toward the back of the property. It was quiet and well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here!

What’s not to love?!
Karen and Daren were so friendly and hospitable. We toured their operation and sampled many of their delicious products before hitting the road, after peaceful weekend in a secluded area of the property. Great people, great campsite, great weekend.
