We've changed the booking options for this little paradise. Now, it's totally private- your own private spot for one or your chosen group.
There's a concrete patio with a fishing pier. Stocked with bass, perch, and catfish, this little lake beckons the birds migrating through and feeds and houses those that never leave. Bring your camera!
Harmony Haven is a cozy nook 3 miles off of I35 in Bruceville, Texas-away from the fray, but convenient to where the action is too.
We're 20 minutes south of Waco, Texas, home of the Silos and MAGNOLIA EVERYTHING, Baylor University, and just an hour and a half away from the Big D (Dallas), an 80 mile trek north of Austin, our great state's capital, and within a few minutes or hours from some of Texas' most beautiful lakes- Lake Waco, Lake Belton, Lake Whitney, Lake Travis, Canyon Lake, and let's not leave out the Guadalupe, Comal, and the mighty Colorado rivers.
RV, tent camping, or sleeping on the ground, it's your choice- all under wide open skies during a full moon's glory (my personal favorite), the twinkling stars, or during the darkest of skies with just the beam of your flashlight or even better, only the glow from the coals in your campfire. Wake up to beautiful sunrises and wind down with gorgeous sunsets. It's peaceful here and if we keep it this way, we'll continue to be privy to the birds serenading us in song and the deer peering at us from the woods; often daring to wander a little closer. Watching a flock of geese take off or land on Harmony Lake is a thrill that always seems new.
Our goal is to keep it down to earth here and maintain the tranquility of this little paradise- too often a challenge anymore.
We hope YOU enjoy it as much as we do!

The vibe at Harmony Haven Camping
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Harmony haven could not be more aptly named; it was the perfect weekend getaway! The campsite is a well maintained setup overlooking the private lake, with a nice level area to pitch a tent or park an RV. It's surrounded by big shady trees that kept the temperature cool and comfortable even in the hot Texas springtime. There is plenty to explore along the property and the sunsets and sunrises are jaw dropping. The lake is teeming with fish and would be a fisherman's paradise, although even without fishing poles we spent plenty of time looking into the crystal water to watch all the fish swimming by. We watched the sun set over the water while roasting marshmallows over the campfire and fell asleep to the soft sound of the frogs croaking and birds chirping. It was so hard to believe that this amazing peaceful place was so conveniently close to the main freeway! Dee Linda was a fantastic host, as were her two beautiful dogs. We had such a fantastic time staying out at Harmony haven and will definitely be back!
