Goats on the Bayou Ranch is situated in Alvin Texas on the Chocolate Bayou and owned by Linda Garrison. Enjoy waking up each morning overlooking the Chocolate Bayou and watching the fish jump in the river. Grab a cup of coffee and make a quick walk down to spend the morning with the goats! You can even help bottle feed our babies! Our location is a working farm with goats, guardian dogs, chickens, ducks and geese. Guests can roam the property at will. We have fishing poles for great brackish water fishing and wood for the night's campfire. We guarantee you will be smiling from morning until night. You have the option of renting one rental, or rent all three of our rentals for a group!

The Goatel Luxe Loft
The Goatel Beat My Expectations
Linda and Steven have created something very special and unique with their Goatel. The loft above the goat barn was cozy, comfortable and also included a kitchen & bathroom. Kids loved the farm experience, being able to fish in the bayou and makings s’mores. Definitely recommend this place!

The Goatel Luxe Loft
The amazing Goatel of Texas!
I had a absolute blast at the Goatel of Texas. My little sister and I stayed for a couple of days but we had so much activities to do on a gorgeous plot of land that is next to a river. When we first got there, it was pretty hot during the day so we stayed inside until it got a little bit cooler. We got to enjoy the view of other people doing Goat Yoga in the mean time while in the second floor of the barn which was clean, cool, and charming. They provided a lot of amenities such as snacks, television, a fridge, sink, a fold out bed, a downstairs shower, AC cooling, and a twin size bed. It felt REALLY cozy and nice there. Once everything cool down, we got to interact and play with the goats, dogs, chickens, turkey, ducks, and geese the entire day. The animals were super sweet and had a bunch of land to play on. My sister and I had a massive grin the entire time as we were watching the goats climb on buildings and getting to pet them. It was like our own personal zoo for 24 hours. From there we went fishing (brought our own fishing poles) and even though we couldn't catch anything, we could see that there were plenty of fish in the water jumping around. Across the river, we also had a awesome view of cows grazing and was just absolutely relaxing. Linda then helped us set up a massive campfire that allowed us to cook hot dogs and smores! I then stayed up for hours just staring and tending to the camp fire by placing fresh cut logs onto it. I couldn't get enough of the mesmerizing fire and staring at it's beautiful colors. In the morning, they let us feed the goats with fresh cow milk and hang out with the animals before we checked out. Linda and Steve were absolutely amazing hosts. They were super down to earth interesting people who had plenty of stories to tell and made us feel at home even though it was our first time camping. I 100% will be booking another trip here and bringing more of my friends and family along in the near future. I recommend this place to anyone who would like to have their own personal zoo for a few hours combined with beautiful scenery and amazing hosts.
