Learn more about this land: Cholla Ranch Camp, situated in the Chihuahuan Desert of Far West Texas is both remote and convenient as it lies just a few miles from the small town of Alpine. This desert setting has been consistently used as a working ranch for decades. The camp is a 10 acre section we have dedicated to hosting guests out of the 1100 acre ranch. Two unique Glamping Tents and 1 Cabin are offered on the ranch to rent. Each unit offers indoor plumbing, comfy beds, refrigerator, microwave, heat and ac seasonally, a private deck, outdoor cooking space and much much more. From your deck is a direct view of the Twin Peaks during the day and spectacular stargazing at night. Pasture Horses and Cattle Roam the Property while Chickens stay safe in their oversized run. One part ranch, one part camp- all Far West Texas Desert. We supply a range of fantastic organic toiletries that help support our grey water system. Fresh Locally Ground Coffee and yes even snacks. Here at CRC we try to ensure your needs are well taking care of.  We look forward to your stay as a place to relax while being submerged in the history of the land.

Glamping at its finest
The tent at Cholla Ranch was a lovely getaway. The tent was comfortable and had all of the amenities you need. I explored Alpine's Big Bend Museum and drove to Ft. Davis nearby. It was what I wanted out of a quiet weekend.

Amazing experience!
I he an absolutist amazing stay at Emma’s property. The communication both leading up to and during the trip was fantastic - Above & beyond, she is so helpful! The tent is incredible - such a comfortable bed and she truly has thought of everything. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and will absolutely be back. The definition of hospitality!

Emma's land was the perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring Big Bend NP and the surrounding area! The inside of the tent was designed like a luxury hotel room while the outside allowed for access to the beautiful countryside of TX on a great sitting porch. As a bonus, the town of Alpine provided access to many great restaurants as well as close access to the The Desk on Hancock Hill hike- truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Additionally, the national park is about an hour away. If you are looking for a glamping experience near Big Bend, I can not recommend Cholla Ranch Camp enough!

The tent was lovely and very comfortable! Location is near Davis mountains and about an hour from Big Bend, making it a great place to stay to explore both.
