This was such a fun community of travelers. I talked to a few people who were either just passing through or staying to hike the trails for the weekend. I found the perfect tree for my tent to be under for shade and privacy. I honestly loved this spot very much and will use it again for future traveling.

The grounds could use some more shade trees and the camping area was rather dusty. I don't know what the water situation is there but it would be nice if at least the tent area was grassy.

The electric vehicle chargers were very handy and, if you drive an electric vehicle, a great reason to visit.

El Cosmico was the coolest most unique stop along our trek! The showers and restrooms impressed us the most! Really clean and well lit, first class for camping! Glamping elements with picnic areas, hammock grove, mood lighting and yurts. It is off a highway with a speed of 55 mph so it gets a bit noisy with the truck traffic. The host was great with communication. A staff person in the little “provision store” wasn’t friendly or welcoming but the text message response from the host upon arrival was quick and helpful.
