Just 100 yards from paved road, accessible rain or shine, Windmill Point is where some of the original pioneers in our area decided to build their house. Although the house is no longer, the windmill that watered the family and their crops still stands. Pitch your tent under the old oak trees or in the open with views of the Richardson Creek valley. We have multiple ponds, valleys, hilltops, open pastures as well as dense brush for you to explore (some areas off limits during hunting season). We are a working cattle and goat ranch as well as the beginnings of an eco-system agriculture orchard.

There is a primitive toilet on site and there is drinkable water at headquarters (1/4 mile). If there is some wind, the water from the windmill (on site) is also drinkable.

Please no glass containers at campsite.

Fires are allowed
Potable water is not available
