Camp Creosote
Outstanding secluded spot with awesome views of the mountains to the south and Nine Point Mesa to the east. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and an unbelievable view of the stars. Pictures can’t do it justice. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Off the Beaten Path Spot
Wonderful little spot out in the desert. If you're looking for a stopping place on your way in or out of Big Bend, this is it. Remote, quiet, and disconnected. Hosts were very nice and campsite was clean. Pretty level too, no need to adjust anything with my van. A little warm this time in springso be prepared for that. Sky was almost completely free of light pollution so there's a great view of the stars. Even heard a pack of coyotes yipping late in the night. Spent my evening watching satellites and the lights of a thunderstorm from 100 miles off. Great spot, highly recommend!

Camp Creosote
Fantastic view, the road up to the spot was easily accessible for our sedan, very secluded. Our host Steve was very friendly and delivered firewood directly to our campsite, which included a burn ban compliant fire pit. Would recommend!
