Enjoy the beautiful 180 degree view of Lake Lavon on this 1.88 acre private property, where the evening breeze is wonderful and the sunsets are incredible. The sites are steps from shoreline fishing swimming, kayaking, birding. Take a swim, fish, boat -- whatever your heart desires. Or just put up a hammock, chill, and enjoy the quiet nature bird watching and the sounds of the water. Great fire ring for campfires. Mostly peaceful quiet relaxation and fresh air here. Choose from either our tent site or our RV site listing depending on your needs. There's a seasonal boat launch three miles away and a year-round boat launch at Twin Groves.

Tranquil Lake Views
We recently spent two serene nights here via Hipcamp, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking lake view and the captivating sunsets that painted the sky each evening. However, our stay wasn't without its challenges. Despite camping in our 27ft Airstream, we encountered some difficulty navigating the slight incline to reach the pad. Additionally, we discovered that the sewer and water hookups were on the left side, while the electric hookup was on the right. Regrettably, our sewer hose wasn't long enough to reach, which was a bit inconvenient. Furthermore, the size of our camper posed a slight issue, as it felt almost too big for the pad provided. Combined with our low clearance camper, it did cause some initial worry, but we managed to handle it without much trouble. One aspect we truly appreciated was the remarkable tranquility of the surroundings. The serene atmosphere made our stay incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating. Despite the minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and are already considering a return trip. For future visitors, we recommend planning ahead if you're bringing a camper, especially regarding the water and sewer hookup logistics. Nevertheless, the stunning views and serene ambiance make this campsite a hidden gem worth revisiting.

Great views.
Really enjoyed this camping spot. Easy to find, clean and well kept grounds and facilities kept nice and clean. Only “complaint” we would have is one of the dogs down the street started barking around 1 in the morning off an on until sunrise. But if I was a dog left out when it was 20 degrees out I’d be barking too! Nice private area, do be aware there is a bike/walking path just beyond the fence so you may have the occasional passer by. Really enjoyed the location.
