The experience started before arriving to the camping spot. Dale was kind enough to ensure the camping spot was leveled and fire pit had wood. The host was tentative answering all of our questions.
Upon arrival was easy to find, the son met us at the camping spot to see if we need anything promising Dale would be there after his appointments.
Dale arrived shortly after and warmly welcomed us.
The camping area was clean, shaded areas, and quiet.
This was exactly what we were looking for!
He offered to give us cattle feed to feed the cows if that was in our interest. We agreed and was brought the feed later on the following day.
Dale offered to take us in a full tour of the area, but we decided to explore ( we are very adventurous!)
Dale did show us a few spots such as where the pond was located etc.
the following day Dale sent a message to see how we were doing ( yes we had some phone service!)
Also offered to bring the cattle feed if we wanted ( he didn’t want to invade our privacy or space)
We agreed to have him stop by.
The cows were a beautiful experience as well. We enjoyed interacting and feeding the cows.
The place was quiet but we did hear animals in the distance. We did feel safe.
Overall, this is a perfect gem! We will be returning to the place to camp sometime soon.
Thank you for all of your support and providing us a wonderful experience.

Me and my two boys had a great time camping out here. Nice quiet spot with lots of room to explore and have fun. Fishing the back pond paid off too my 7 year old caught a good size small mouth!
This was our first trip with our first RV. The location does not have electric hookups but did have water.
The location is secluded but there is a home not too far from the site. The owner had plenty of land at that location and I think we could have gone deeper into the woods to have more privacy. (but then you would not have water)
We arrived and found that Dale had provided us firewood and a fire ring. He also came out to great us and show us around the land. We also went and met with the cows.
There are three towns near the site and each are about 20 minutes away in three different directions. You will be able to locate anything you need at one of the three towns.
As for places to visit - Ray Roberts state Park (Also has a dump station), Whiskey Hallow and Western Sons (vodka) distilleries, Frank Buck zoo, Sugar ridge winery.
All where closed due to COVID fears.
We had fun on our first outing. Thanks for hosing us!!!

Had a great ti
Dale is an awesome host. He communicated well and was very inviting. My clan loved feeding the cows! We stayed for 2 nights and arrived after sunset. Dales instructions for locating the property were very accurate. Upon arrival, Dale marked out some options to pitch a tent. There were two fire rings and Dale had firewood already set and stacked in each ring for us!
We had an excellent time at Dale G.'s Land and Dale was an excellent host.
The wood left near the campfire ring was VERY helpful.
Loved the Cows.
