Big Bend Trip!
It was clean and had more than enough space for us! not too far from study butte (has gas and some stores where we got ice and some groceries we needed). Porta potty wasn’t bad at all-super clean and didn’t smell. Had a great time here

Lovely camping spot!
This is a lovely camping spot! There are four sites, and we were the only people there the one night we stayed. Site #1 has a large shrub that provides some shade. There are nice shared picnic tables, trash recepticles, and a FANTASTIC port-a-john. The sunset and sunrise views were gorgeous. We would definitely camp here again, and would absolutely recommend this spot!

Beautiful site and great hosts!
Carol and her husband were great hosts! Their campsite was clean and well kept. There were a couple picnic tables and plenty of space. The port-a-potty they had is the port-a-potty I will hold as standard for all port-a-potties from now on! Very clean with peat moss, febreeze and reading material! They warned us when significant rain was on the way so that we could camp across the road where we were less likely to get our car stuck. Highest recommendation! The site was about 45 mins from the park entrance but that is pretty standard in the area for camping outside of the park!

Its out there
My review may not be fair, I didn't end up staying here. I drove up and it was a lonely spot off a dirt road in the middle of nowhere with just a porta potty, 1 hr away from the park. I decided to stay closer to the park even though it was too late for me to get a refund.
