Creekside Tent Spots @ Organic Farm
The campsite we were given was very shady under a huge tree! It was very private but also only a short walk from the communal area. The communal space had an entrance to the water as well as paddle boards and kayaks. The water was a bit too low for my swimming preferences, but we did go out on the kayaks, which was really fun. Overall a nice camp space/nature area & a perfect private getaway from the craziness of covid.

Never heard of HipCamp before this trip, and this spot blew my mind. Any place that offers Canoes, Paddleboards, and private swimming area would charge an arm and a leg for these amenities. My daughter and I had so much fun. The host property was fun to see, always drive by farms never actually see what they’re all about. That being said the guided tour was well worth it, super tasty organic veggies too!

This is a FANTASTIC, quiet, fun spot. Beautiful, monumental trees provide plenty of shade, and the creek gives lots to do without ever leaving the property. We LOVED our stay this past weekend and plan to spend more time there soon.

Great host! Rustic, organic, and perfect!! My friends and I able to cool off in the creek after a long day on the bike. Very shaded and felt safe.

Friendly folks, helped us get our large trailer in a spot surrounded with trees and privacy. Enjoyed the bluff view of the river, campfire, kayaks on creek and wildlife!

A beautiful secluded camping spot with access to a creek full of dragonflies, fish and birds.
Our host was so friendly and grabbed us anything we needed, greeted us with a kayak trip and a walking tour to see the farm.
The drive out is beautiful itself, a big buffalo field is the best for sunset viewing and of course a fire pit. We woke up to farm fresh eggs, peacocks, baby lambs and a bag full of (affordable and WORTH IT) organic veggies to take home!
Be aware this truly is a nature trip- one with nature meaning no toilets, pack in and pack out!

Pros and Cons of Hannah & Rob's Organic Farm:
Pros:
* Hannah is a very responsive and friendly host (I didn't get the chance to meet Rob)
* Directions were great and the site was easy to drive to
* Their property overall is lovely - lush, shaded and away from everything
* Zero light pollution and almost zero road noise
* The campsite had ample space, lots of trees and a fire pit
* I loved the visitors! We got to get up close and personal with the flock of sheep and a very sweet cat; it definitely added to the fun
* Privacy was good - you are far away and out of site from the other campsite and Hannah & Rob's house
Cons:
* We specifically booked Site #2 (Creekside) through HipCamp. But when we showed up, we were brought to a different location. Only after I inquired was I told the other site was booked and that they can't really tell through HipCamp who books which site.
* There are are only two pictures of "Site #1" on HipCamp: "Shady Campsite!" and "The RV Site". Neither of these give a fair picture of what you are getting. You are camped right up against a tool/farm/old chicken coop shed.
* There were a number of tools, cement blocks and other shed spill over laying about the site. We had to do a clean up before setting up camp.
* Most of the pictures on the HipCamp listing are for the "communal area" and are not specific to either camp site.
I will say that Site #1 did have a very nice, small cliff overhang. We set up our chairs to look out over the cliff (with the shed to our backs) and that view was pleasant. However, you are looking straight down onto the communal area that is set up with several garbage cans, folding tables, a hammock, some well used chairs and a grill. So there is no real way to feel like you are in nature from any vantage point.
Overall: The hosts and the property are nice. I think the hosts could do a much better job of showing pictures of the actual camp sites and what to expect. The photos and communal area are misleading. And if the site you are selecting can't actually be reserved, that should be *clearly* stated in the listing. Or... what I have seen with other HipCampers... they should make the sites two separate listings.

The Creekside Farm RV and Tent spots was a perfect quick getaway. Both Rob and Hannah were easy to get a hold of and responsive to our texts. The place was clean and beautiful and our tent spot was secluded and quiet. Highly recommend for a place just a quick drive away from Austin. Plus they have kayaks and paddle boards for the little creek on the property as a huge plus.

Great campsite! Lots of shade, easy places to get into the water, plys they had kataks and paddle boards to play with at the common area! We felt very isolated at our site but still very secure. The visits by the sheep were entertaining as well. If you have kids (or adults) that like to fish there were tons of easy catch and release perch and crappie.

If you look for a place to escape, enjoy nature and get fresh organic veggies this is the place you must go. Hannah was super, our kids picked fresh beans and helped herding sheep. All in all a perfect camping weekend!

We had an incredible time getting away for the weekend while camping here. The creek is a ton of fun for paddle boarding or kayaking, the sheep were so cute, and the sunset views were incredible. This is an awesome alternative to public park camping, will definitely be back.

Rob and Hannah were beyond friendly and helpful to ensure we had a lovely stay on their delightful farm. Our site was fully shaded with a great view of the creek. We and our kids loved playing in the creek. Other campers were there but the sites are very far apart. We couldn't even see anyone else from our site. Will definitely go back.

Our stay was amazing. There was so much shade from all the trees. Our 10 person tent was completely in shade. The communal area was a short walk from our campsite and the maintained access point for the creek. We appreciated there being a grill which meant we didn’t need to set up our travel one. We brought firewood with us but there are tons of sticks in the ground that make for a great starter for a fire.
We brought our 2.5 and 11 yr old. They both enjoyed it. My one suggestion as a not Texan native would be if you have smaller kids or don’t like creek bed (think seaweed and mud) texture I would bring water shoes. Our 2.5 yr old was utterly terrified of the water but my 11 didn’t care. The creek is shallow in some areas and deep in others. We brought our noodles and didn’t feel the need for them.
We forgot our shovel for our camping toilet (see property description) but Rob saves our butts. ;) I did forget another item and they were quick to help.

We spend 2 nights at the campsite and had a very fun time. The site(s) are on a meadow by the creek, and there is a common area with tables/other equipment in case you need tongs or similar stuff. They had placed a ton of firewood so we had fun keeping the fire going the two nights. The area is on the other side of the road, so it does not feel as much as camping in somebody's farm since it is far from the farm/house. At the same time, the common area has more equipment than you would find on a normal campsite, which i found to be useful.
I believe the common area is supposed to be used by all campers that stay there at a given time ( I wonder whether it gets crowded ) but we were the only ones there that weekend
Rob was very helpful and made sure we were having a good time, and helped us get the fire going one night.
I would recommend the place to a friend

Even though we didn't get to camp overnight we still were able to enjoy ourselves thoroughly! The hosts were patient and accommodating as our plans changed frequently and we are definitely hoping to get back asap. Dinner, s'mores, star gazing and fireside relaxation was totally worth the trip if just for a few hours! Thank you Hannah and Rob for your hospitality.

Such a great little campsite, we had a great view of the stream and the kids went swimming & fishing. Wonderful hosts, very helpful and got us all set-up for a great weekend get-away.

We were so pleased with our stay. The description and the photos didn’t do the farm and creek and surrounding areas justice. We were greeted by curious and lovely goats, a gorgeous creek to paddle board and kayak (kayaks provided) and a quiet nook of our own to enjoy the Texas sky and shooting stars. Can’t wait to return and maybe even help on the farm!

Hannah and her husband were so nice and helpful. We got to see some stars and even part of the Milky Way! And the goats are adorable! Totally recommend this cute farm for your overnight stay 👌🏻

This is a very nice campground. The area was freshly mowed. There is plenty of shade under a huge pecan tree. There is a fun cummunal area on the creek. Provides for great fishing, pretty view of the creek and more shade.
We got a tour of the wonderful organic chicken/vege farm.
Owners are delightful to talk to and very helpful with directions.

My husband and I stayed here while road tripping in our EV across country. Hannah was nice enough to give us all the instructions we’d need to plug the car in over night and she was incredibly flexible with us as our arrival time became later and later. Their property was beautiful and it was a great extra bonus to be greeted by adorable little goats (all fenced in and not loud at all) the next morning.
