Pitch your own tent on some of the most beautiful 30 acres of land in McLennan County. there are 3 sites to choose from, each one beautiful and well maintained. You have the choice of site #2-which is a small alcove under a majestic oak, #3- which is at the corner and has the best views and the most privacy, and #4-which is in a tree laden area closest the stock tank. Nearly any spot you select has an amazingly delightful view. You can see the sun rise over the trees or the sun set behind a gently sloping hill. You will have access to all of the acreage. There are trails to walk, a stock tank to fish in and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. The noises you hear will be cattle calling to their little ones, birds singing, and in the evenings, coyotes howling.
There are no power lines over the property so I invite you to bring a kite to fly! You may even see one or two of mine in the sky. The theme of Coyote Creek Farm is tranquility. It is camping without someone crowding into your space. It is freedom from the hectic pace of the city.
The farm is situated just minutes from Magnolia-Silos, the Dr. Pepper museum, Baylor University, the Texas Ranger museum, BSR Waterpark and plenty of magnificent restaurants.
There is a well maintained Compost Toilet on the property as well!

Great for all camping options!
It was absolutely beautiful, Regina was super helpful! She gave us options as to where we would camp, and even gave us a tour of the place when we arrived.
Regena is so nice and has a beautiful property! I found this app and, on impulse, booked a night here the same day. the only thing that could make the experience better would be to stay more than one night! Im already trying to plan when we can "get away" next. The tent sites are a good size, in a line next to eachother along the fence, each tucked into shady trees that provide some seclusion. you can park next to your area. Cows were mooing just on the other side of the fence while i put up my tent and falling asleep to all the sounds of nature was exactly the kind of peace i needed :)
Relaxing care free
It was close enough to the city that it wasnt hard to get to, and it was far enough away to be completely city free. The crickets were singing, and some neighboring cows were mooing. The pond was nice, the grounds were well kept. There were no racoons trying to steal my food, and the fire pit was well kept. Regina was courteous, and really went out of her way to make it a nice experience. There were a lot of wildflowers too.
Accomodating, quiet and beautiful
Regena's place was amazing. I went to unwind with my dog over a weekend and it was exactly what I was looking for. Regena was super accommodating and a great host. I will be back to enjoy the stars at night, peace and quiet, and the fishing. Thank you Regena for a great stay!
This was our first time booking on Hip Camp and it was definitely a success! We just got a new puppy and wanted to introduce her to camping. With a pond, fields and lots of places to explore, this was the perfect place for her! It is a great distance from Waco so we could go hiking at Cameron Park during the day and come back for a peaceful evening. The sunset was beautiful from our campsite! Regina was very friendly and gave us a tour of the camp! The outhouses was a little far but was very clean as far as outhouses go. The cows were pretty noisy at night so I would recommend bringing ear plugs. We would stay here again!
Great location and nice host
Regena was a great host. The property is very nice and each campsite has large, new fire rings. You can hear/see the neighboring campsites if you try, but you still feel that you have privacy. Keep in mind your 5 minutes outside of Waco, so it’s definitely a beautiful place to camp outside. The property is lined with trees and it’s a nice walk around the outskirts. Highly recommend!
This was the perfect space for a camp out. We pulled in around sunset and was easy to find. Directions were clear, host Regana was helpful, even drew a little map to a back way to the place we were headed in the morning. She was exactly what I expect from a host. This is a great space that is a real gem to be able to stay on this private farm.
