The vibe at Camp by the Creek
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We had a fantastic weekend camping out at Lucky Farms! The creek campsite was very secluded and private but easy enough to drive across the pastures to get to. The site is perfectly placed with giant trees overhead creating shade even in the middle of the day over the campsite and there is a fire pit that's well maintained and waiting for the next campers. There was plentiful hiking along the creek and plenty of areas to explore. We fell in love with the sweet mini horses that would come visit our campsite for some love and mini carrots. Our weekend was a relaxing escape just a short drive from Austin and it was such a treat to stay out on such a beautiful farm with an incredible hostess!
Great little spot to get away for some solitude. Sue was great and the ranch was nice with the livestock and creek. This is a nice a quiet, secluded spot so if that’s what you are after, look no further.
I had a great stay at this camp site! It was very beautiful and extremely peaceful. Sue was a great host and helped to make the stay comfortable. The trip was definitely highlighted by their adorable animals, including 6 mini ponies and 2 donkeys! I would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone looking to get away for a couple of days and enjoy a quiet, pleasant camping trip.
Great host! Super responsive, gave very clear instructions to the camp site with signs as host was out. Firewood provided. Had fun with the donkeys and cows! Would definitely be back again!
We had a nice weekend camping trip. We put up a tent in a far corner of the property and were pretty secluded. Sue had mowed a path in preparation so everything was easily accessible. The ponies and donkeys were great and Sega, our great dane, loved them even though that love might not have been reciprocated!
