We enjoyed our stay wish we had longer to stay, neat property with nice area to enjoy the river. Nice compared to big rv parks, just 3 hookups for rent so makes for a lot more privacy. RV hooks up are up top there is a small cabin for rent and an area for camping. We made new friends with our travel trailer neighbors and hope to catch up with them to tube in a couple months. Paul the on site manager helped us get in and out we are fairly new to our travel trailer but with a few tries got in and out no problems. We def will be back soon. Like it says bring a cart to take your stuff down to river. Thanks again we will def be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at Boulderdash. Hope to come again with the whole family and rent the cabin too. I do have to stay that this is the first RV park where the camp host waited up until midnight for us to arrive. We don’t suggest arriving late due to all the deer. We will camp here again.

Wow! I cannot recommend this campsite enough! We had such a wonderful time! The sights were beautiful and we all had a blast. The river was only a short walk down the hill and it was so refreshing especially during the heat of the day. Our site was clean and well managed. Also, having awesome site hosts was just icing on the cake. Michele brought us a little goodie bag full of supplies to make s’mores and was so kind and friendly. She let my young boys help her feed the deer in the area in both the morning and evening. I know it’s something they will always remember. We definitely will be back!

Actually backing into site 1 was a trick. I have a 33ft bumper pull, but it went in after a couple of tries. I was also a little confused about what part of the river bank we could use, since there is a space reserved for the cabin campers there.
If you're mobility-challenged, you will need a motorized something to get down to the river, because it's a steep driveway. Take a wagon for your stuff! The river is really wide and deep there, so take kayaks/canoes and life jackets for the little ones.
The view is...I cannot find the word. Just wait and see for yourself.
I highly recommend, and I will be back to this place!

Thank you so much Robert! We really appreciate the feedback & are happy to hear you will return!! Yes the driveway is a workout for sure! I do tell people to bring wagons! I also think we need a defibrillator installed about 1/2 way up the driveway! LOL In the future I will be more specific in regards to where our campers can play!! Actually the entire area to the left of the boat launch is for your enjoyment!

We RV camped with kayaks. Great location, right on the river, clean, not over crowded, the hosts were great, and there is plenty to see and do. Plenty of nature. We will be going back for sure. As the owners state prior to your arrival, do be prepared for a rough stretch of road for the last leg getting to the sites, and be prepared to have a way to get your toys to and from the river. It is paved, but down hill. Being privately owned and not commercial makes a difference (not too big)! High five to the owners, they furnish plenty of info prior to your stay, thanks for a fun experience!

We were confused about how our camper would be parked in this spot AND we ended up arriving pretty late... the camp hosts were very understanding and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

The hosts were fantastic. Loved the corn and bird seed on the table when we arrived. We rented kayaks, which I highly recommend.

I think we might enjoy it a little better when the river is down, rather than full. The water/ shore is a lot murkier than Lake Travis, which is what we are used to. But the kayaks made a huge difference for us to enjoy the water.

We had site 1, the view is beautiful, but there’s a drop off pretty close to getting out of trailer. It’s a little steep hill down to the picnic table. But there was enough room to use 2/3 of the outdoor rug and set up some camp.

The area driving into the site is not what I expected and I’ll leave it at that.

Thank you so much for the feedback. We really appreciate our guests, and you are correct the river has been murky because of all the boat traffic.....generally it is crystal clear, esp when the river is lower!! As far as the neighborhood...i hear ya!! 😜

We enjoyed our stay! Bests: Beautiful views of the river, deer at the campsite in the evenings, extra touches to make it feel homey, and the hosts had tubes our kids used to play in the river. It was an ideal spot to explore the Bandera area, and about an hour from San Antonio.
