AMAZING! We loved staying here and meeting our host Terri. If you’re an animal lover, want some peace and quiet camping, and if you enjoy both of those together at the same time... this is the place! You get to literally camp with the Llamas. How fun!
Terri was hospitable and had some great stories/information about the Llamas. We learned a lot! And got to witness a baby born the day we arrived. We got to name her Lucy ❤️
There’s a small creek in the back of her property, the days we camped it had some water running through it. Nice and shaded with the trees.
Depending on the burn ban, we were able to build a fire in the designated areas and cook our dinners.
No bathroom but we had a pop up that we placed behind the tent and Jeep to have some privacy.
The location is at the end of the street through the neighborhood and on the right hand side. Terri met us at the gate, it was pretty easy to find overall.

We would recommend and will def be back. Thank you Terri for the stay on your property! It was a perfect start of my birthday road trip!

Built a pizza in the Dutch oven! Yum! One of the friendly cats Our dinner setup with camp fireFeeding the Llamas, Shady Lady was the hungriest of the bunch!

Teri was an absolute gem! Wonderful conversation and so helpful with everything we needed! When we had a question, she’d be out there to chat with us!

The animals are there for your enjoyment, like literally there. They’re walking around and close so great opportunity for pictures. But don’t worry, they don’t bother you at all!

Seriously, if you like outdoors, a peaceful area, and a wonderful host! I could not recommend this Hipcamp more!

It was very unique camping with llamas. It was very peaceful. There were several friendly animals besides the llamas. A few cats and a Great Pyrenees that patrolled the area. Terri was very helpful and friendly. There is also a grocery store within minutes if you forget something.

My trip to Azzurro Moon Ranch was absolutely wonderful! The property is a beautiful destination for a camping trip. There is plenty of shade, great views of wildflowers, and the animals made the experience so unique. It was lovely to set up a tent and just watch the llamas go by. Terri was very welcoming and made our stay very relaxing. This is a great place to get away from the city and enjoy nature.

Azzurro Moon Ranch was an awesome stay, Terri was a wonderful host and feeding the Llamas was great!

The campsites are all located on the side of a creek running through the back of her property, all within the same field the female llamas roam through!

Many animals, like her field cats and Great Pyrenees came to visit us as we set up camp.

Overall the experience was wonderful, I’d definitely recommend anyone to give it a visit! :)

Terri is a wonderful host! Would definitely love to come back. Llamas were so adorable and came really close to the camp! There was a Water moccasin in the creek, but that’s the same as anywhere in Texas near water! Just a cautionary comment.

Terri was the MOST amazing host! She is so friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home. The llamas are so fun and come right up to your spot! The whole ranch is filled with wild flowers and it is BEAUTIFUL in the morning! She also has amazing dogs and sweet, friendly cats! This place feels magical and is the coolest experience!

Couldn't recommend this spot enough! Terri was super hospitable and pleasant to chat with. She let us set up camp wherever we pleased on her gorgeous property and offered us any essentials we may have forgotten. The llamas were curious but non-intrusive, and relaxed about us approaching them. There are several dogs on the property that are all incredibly kind and adorable. If you're looking for a nice open space to relax and hang out with animals, look no further than this ranch!
