Beautiful night skies, beautiful property, just 4 miles from downtown Fredericksburg, TX. Plenty of space between sites.  Campfires allowed, weather permitting. Dogs allowed as long as they are on leashes. Frederickburg, TX has lots to see and plenty to do. Expect to see horses on the property as well as deer and resident armadillo and jackrabbits.   Water, Porta-Potties, and shower are all available.

Camping at its best
Angela's land is a really nice space. We had a great time. It's really close to town but you're far enough away that you feel secluded from town also. We were there over the eclipse and it sounds like she was trying to make more spaces to accommodate more campers. I have mixed views on this strategy. Most of our weekend we were there pretty much by ourselves and had first pick of sites to set up camp so being to close to neighbors wasn't a problem for us, but some sites were really close together. Everyone there was there for the eclipse so it was fun being around other people for the same reason and we met some really nice hip campers. So as I said, we were there for the eclipse but we did go into town a couple times just to check it out. Fredericksburg is such an adorable town. Lots of great looking restaurants, like way more than you'd expect of a town this size. We brought most of our food, but if you're considering staying here, keep that in mind and save some meals for restaurants inFredericksburg. There also a lot of interesting shops to explore. It's also wine country and lots of choices for tastings if that's your thing. Overall, had a lovely time. It's camping so your experience is kind of what you make of it. We'd stay here again, should we ever roll through this part of the country again.

Tent camping with the kids here was a great time. It was pretty full for the eclipse, but plenty of space between sites and good folks ask around. The porta potty was clean and Angela was helpful!

We loved this campsite and Angela was an amazing host, great communication before and during our stay! Our family had such a great visit, my kids enjoyed the horses and the property was perfect for our weekend. Angela was so welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Successful eclipse viewing
We came for the eclipse, and this was the perfect venue. Although Angela had a full "house" (camp ground), she made it fun and comfortable. There was a warm shower, and our site was conveniently close to an extra outhouse she brought in for the event. All the campers were friendly and we got to visit with a few.

Perfect Eclipse Weekend
We had an amazing stay on Angela’s land! We tent camped for the eclipse and it was magical! Angela is awesome! So sweet, so accommodating—really made sure we were comfortable. She even loaned us some tools so we could change our break pads! The landscape is really pretty— lots of sites in the shade and a few in the sun. She has several bathrooms (portapotty) around and the warm shower she offers (free for campers) was so nice!! The camp sites are spaced far enough apart that it still feels very private. She has several fire pits around and offered to drop one off at our site if needed. We loved the small heard of goats on a bordering land and the horses were very friendly! Our dog had a BLAST! We felt very welcome and safe. We would absolutely stay here again.
