A great little hideaway to pitch a tent for the night. The deer and the birds really add to the scenery. It’s on the outskirts of town so if you do need supplies it’s a short run, but you arn’t to close. The included firewood also is really nice. I would definitely recommend it.
Very responsive hosts! I took my three kids and we camped in a small camper. I thought the price was fair, considering that it comes with electricity, plenty of firewood, a new picnic table and plenty of privacy. The stars were fantastic.
Beautiful spot that's a close location to river access and town yet feels secluded and safe. This was the perfect place to go camping with our boys. They had a blast building a fire, hiking around the property (easy going trail access that's perfect for younger kids), and of course keeping an eye out for the local wildlife that goes through the property. The picnic table and availability of firewood was a huge comfort. Electric is onsite which is nice, but you'll need to bring in water which wasn't a problem at all. Toilets and showers were used just down the road at the city park (not your average city park, this one has families in mind). Can't go wrong with this place. We plan on using them regularly whenever we are in the area!
This was a pleasant experience from the moment of booking. Communication was above and beyond, including great local spots. We chose to hike at Inks Lake and ate Coopers BBQ (do NOT miss this Texas landmark) thanks to suggestions from the host. We stopped in at a local coffee shop one morning and were able to use the WiFi. Very friendly owner. Another thing we stumbled upon were the cairns in Llano River which we saw when walking around Ford. From the bridge we saw that the rocks made a path to follow as you Ford the river. Very fun if you’re feeling adventurous and the water was low enough that our two dogs got in on it! Another day we drove to Fredericksburg to explore. Very cute. Being new to hill country it was also just nice to relax on the land and take in the stars. The property itself is well maintained. There is an abundance of firewood on the property thanks to careful clearing of the land. We had no trouble parking our 22’ trailer and had many level spaces to choose from. Overall this was a perfect experience and if we are back in the area we will gladly camp here again.
Lived up to being called an oasis! Endless firewood, a picnic table, and a place to charge your phone. What more could you need?
Our stay was wonderdful! It was beautiful, clean and we'll kept. There was so much wild life. We loved cruising the back roads looking for deer. It was near by to the two locations we wanted to go to (Cooper's BBQ and enchanted rock). We will be back next we want to stay in the area 😃
Absolutely lovely secluded and private campsite, only a couple minute drive as stated from Llano river and the town which was positively beautiful this time of the year (thanksgiving). Best part was the ability to enjoy camping in solitude and the bird/deer feeder near the site.

A nice, private site near Llano and less than an hour from Enchanted Rock and Colorado Bend. Definitely recommend Llano Beer Co as well if you stay here. Unfortunately there was a burn ban while we visited but the site is well set up with a fire ring and plenty of pre cut wood. We used the park just north of the site to refill water when needed.
We had a great time staying here! We had the entire lot to ourselves which was perfect. The picnic table, fire pit and other little extra touches made it a great experience! The only issue we had was that dogs at nearby properties would bark in the evening which made OUR dogs bark or get excited, but that’s just our dogs being young and easily riled up! Overall a great experience that we hope to do again in the future!
